ABSTRACT

Preparations are being made for potential incursions of huanglongbing and its two known vectors, Diaphorina citri Kuwayama and Trioza erytreae del Guercio, into Australia. These preparations, particular the development of an incursion management plan (IMP), have involved extensive reviews of literature related to the origins of Citrus and huanglongbing, and of host records for the disease and its vectors. These issues and aspects of the IMP, including pre- and post-incursion management plans are briefly discussed.
